Welcome to Waiting at the Well Ministries’ Blog.  My name is Cindy Powell and I’m the Director of WATW.  I have been leading various payer ministries, bible studies and mission teams for over 15 years.  My desire, above all, is to host the presence of God wherever I go and bring others into a deeper encounter with Him so they can hear His heart for themselves and, ultimately, be released into His purposes for their lives.

 I use this blog for two main purposes:

1. As a primary means of communication for the latest ministry news.  I have discovered that it is far easier to get information updated quickly by updating this blog rather than making changes to the actual WATW site.  We have put links on several of our main website pages with frequently changing info (such as our Meetings and Events page, and Around the World Page) that take you to a specific category on this blog that contains the updated info.

2. As a place to express my heart in writing.  I’ve always had a tendency to pour out my heart on paper.  Over the years, the Lord has made it quite clear that the ability to write is a gift and an avenue of ministry that He wants me to be dilligent to pursue.  I usually write at least one or two devotional pieces a month (usually categorized under the “A Word From the Well” heading) as well as various other poems, ponderings and prayers.

However you found this site, my prayer is that you will find a revelation of God’s heart somewhere within these pages and that you will be drawn deeper into intimate communion with Him.  Truly, that is the reason we breathe.
